gym_rat   10 #25 Posted February 10, 2013 We have a fox den at the bottom of our garden and never had a problem with them at all. The foxes are not all to blame, how did the fox get in the house? why wasn't windows/ doors closed?  my back doors open right now - my kids deserve to be mauled? max   13 #26 Posted February 10, 2013 my back doors open right now - my kids deserve to be mauled?  Don't be silly, no-one's saying that. However, should your kids be mauled it's you that deserves to be lambasted.
 Share this content via...
bobgirlsnake   10 #27 Posted February 10, 2013 my back doors open right now - my kids deserve to be mauled?   I never said that did I?! if you have a door open you should always be on guard anything could come in your house... fox, rat, cat, dog, person anything! gym_rat   10 #28 Posted February 10, 2013 Don't be silly, no-one's saying that.  nope, been several on the thread have said just that.  My garden has a 7 foot wall round it, CCTV and external sensors and has never been known to have a fox within 100 yards but several have said I should keep my door closed.  not so clear cut is it? bitspooky   10 #29 Posted February 10, 2013 I think what's being said, is that - IF you leave your doors / windows open and unattended - then ultimately it's your responsibility if something / someone enters your house uninvited. CeeCee   10 #32 Posted February 10, 2013   Unless that door was absolutely wide open, there's no way a fox would have gone into the house. You have to wonder if there isn't a vicious pet dog somewhere that's suddenly been spirited away.  Is this comment meant to be a joke ? frank ryan   10 #33 Posted February 10, 2013 what business is it of yours pal?[/quote none of my business, but if someone discloses something really weird, I'm naturally interested.  my garden has a 3 ft wall, no cctv and no sensors and I feel pretty much safe.  sorry if you were offended/paranoid. frank ryan   10 #35 Posted February 10, 2013 Can you identify a single post which states that your children deserve to be attacked?  I think the only rational response to the imminent threat of fox attack is a 7 ft fence, 'sensors' and cctv.  how else might we protect our loved ones?
