Unusual surname - Damms

I have sent you a PM. about the Damms Family.

Sorry to bother you if this isnt posted in the right place but spoke to my mum today and she said her father was

Ernest Damms married to Annie Damms nee Mellon

His brothers were

George

Charles

Fred

Jack

And he had a sister called

Alma Birch nee Damms

Just not sure wereto look to start with reseach

sorry to hear of your loss, the year is the same as mine and I'm sure its the same Sheila damms...I think she lived near Cartonville Road/ Campbell Road area..

Think it was my aunt Sheila she lived on clarefield road that was the road off cartonville road at the back of the shops did you no my mum myra damms she is younger than Sheila she was born in 1944.sorry for all the questions

No I cant recall your mum just your aunt. Wish I could give you more info but it was a long time ago..

Hi my names Jo, my grandad was Ernest damms they lived in attercliffe, he had two daughters Sheila and Mira my mum was sheila, I would appreciate any info you have

Jack Damms [plasterer] lived on Walkley Street .

A gentleman if I ever saw one was Jack.

Ernest Damms was a foreman at Shepcote Lane Rolling Mills in the sixties.

There is a Counciler Tony Damms he was lord Mayor at one time, I no a Fred Damms who lives in S35.
