hrawse   10 #1 Posted January 22, 2013 Hi,  I would just like to let you know about our support group that we run once a week at the Dronfield Children's Centre. (Oakhill Road, Dronfield, Derbyshire S18 2EJ)  This group is open to anyone who wants information or support in relation to breastfeeding. Ante-natal mums are very welcome, it may help you to decide how you wish to feed your new arrival if you have the opportunity to meet and talk to other mums before the time comes. If you are already breastfeeding your baby, it doesn't matter whether all is going well for you of whether you are experiencing any difficulties, the breastfeeding group is there to support you. You are welcome to drop in to the cafe for a few minutes every once in a while or for the full hour and a half every week, whatever works for you is fine with us.  We aim to provide you with a warm welcome and a relaxed and comfortable environment to chat and meet other mums. We look forward to seeing you soon!  Other Information - Held every Thursday from 1pm - 2.30pm.  Dronfield Breastfeeding Cafe is run by a group of local volunteer mums who have completed breastfeeding support worker training. The training has enabled them to provide information, support and encouragement to antenatal, new and established breastfeeding mums. All our peer supporters have breastfed their own children for at least a year and have gained great experience in doing so.  Health Visitor support is available within the group when required.  Older siblings are welcome too.  On the first Thursday of the month the breastfeeding group will be run in conjunction with the 'Bumps and Babes' group, which is open to all ante-natal and new mums.
