Walked as normal (2.8 miles each way) - took maybe 10 mins extra .

Yes, and I work in Nottingham!

Me too-getting to the M1 this morning took an hr instead of 10mins so I was a bit late despite setting off earlier, but coming home was easy! The M1 was like a ghost motorway both this morning and this evening.:D

I got to work today using the supertram link bus and tram.Took me twice as long to get home than it normally does when i use my car but they say a change is better than a rest.I will be going in the car tomorrow has i have managed to clear all the snow from in front of the garage and drive. The tram was a bit crowded to say the least,i know how a sardine feels now.

I had a pleasurable day, took my children sledging.

Made it in, only 20 minutes late considering bus didnt go all the way and had to walk. Almost slipped and fell and it would have injured my knee. As I'm a temp and could be laid off due to being signed off, it may make me think twice about doing it again :/

So a third didn't make it into work?

I wonder how the private/public sector ratio looks?
