Berkley   10 #4 Posted January 19, 2013 Well fine, perhaps the word "ok" was me being a bit optimistic.
 Share this content via...

bouncing   10 #6 Posted January 19, 2013 Ignore the snobs. It is all down to if the person wants to learn. My daughter left Newfield 2012 with 12 GCSE's grade B or above.
 Share this content via...

Spanadora   10 #8 Posted January 20, 2013 When you say SEN department is that the support for the students of Newfield or the Talbot school attached to Newfield?  I can't really comment on Newfield, apart from my experience of the students as they are leaving school and I don't wish to be nasty towards children so I shall keep my mouth firmly zipped on that matter  However if you are wondering about Talbot, I can't rate it highly enough, it is a fantastic school my brother who is 18 recently left. He has cerebral palsy and the support from the staff and the facilities and experiences they provide are excellent. It also has an Ofsted outstanding rating. retrorainbow   10 #9 Posted January 20, 2013 Newfield seems ok in my opinion, the new headmaster was my old deputy head at a different school- and he will do wonders for that school.  Can't comment on a S.E.N at Newfield, they have one at King Ecgberts which seems ok.
