Sunday 28th april,, jane tomlinson peak district.. 25miler dambuster

have recently found out about this walk sunday 28th aug, £20 to register that goes to the jane tomlinson charity,, and then, you are encouraged to raise money for a chosen charity,, the e mail i received was that it was whstever you can raise???????? onl;y snag,, its 6.30am to register on a sunday,,, in hope i think,,, anyone interested in the walk ????

You don't HAVE to do the 25 miler - There's a 5 miler and a 14 miler, so a challenge for everybody.

 

And there are similar ones in the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District - our webmaster is doing all 3 to raise money for Rain Rescue

hi fella,

 

i have decided to have a go at the 25miles and am going to register this week, on the site the route map is not very clear, is there anyway you can mail me a copy, if not i will just have to wait for the official one arriving.

 

Think i have some training to do lol

Yes its the furthest I have walked recently so not sure how it will go and certainly plenty of hills!

 

Really looking forward to the challenge although not getting up at 6 am on a Sunday!

its looking like getting there may be a problem, might have to arrange a lift or overnight bivvy, site claims that trains should be running for the event but the trains dont know about it lol.
