I don't often go out in pubs these days, but I remember this happening in the 80s and 90s, although mostly in a pub that has now been converted into a set of apartments

The fish man that visited the pubs I frequented in the 80s was called Tommy, looked a bit like Bobby Nut though. Not seen him for years.
