bluberry   10 #1 Posted January 12, 2013 Does anyone know somewhere reasonably priced for shortening jeans? A rough idea of the cost would be great. I want some maternity jeans shortening but will only be in them for a few more weeks so don't want to spend a lot.  Thanks
 Share this content via...

Owethemnowt   10 #9 Posted January 13, 2013 Just to warn you of the alterations place at Woodseats. Avoid it.  I walked in their with a cheap rain jacket - polyster type thing with a small tear in the cuff, about 5 cm rip.  They wanted £12 to sew 5 cm. I was stunned and asked again saying ' I just want it sewing up, not neat, just stitch it'.  £12.  The woman, and this is meant to be helpful so you know to avoid the place, looked like an advert for cosmetic surgery. Boobs done, neck done, teeth done [ I could go on ] and the wrong side of 50.  If Frankenstien's mobster should greet you with a smile that would outshine a nucleur explosion, then you're within seconds of being ripped off.  Escape while your wallet remains healthy.
