Day old chicks/crickets/mealworms

Hi there,

 

Can anyone advise on a good source to obtain day old chicks from, as well as meal worms/crickets/mario worms etc from?

 

Is there much difference quality wise, or is it pretty standard?

Most poultry keepers would be glad to give you day old chicks. I'm not hatching at the moment but my day olds get wasted when culled.

 

There is a company in Dinnington that grows live foods. You can get them mail order, not sure if you can collect. The pet shop in Dinnington had live mealworms but I feed dried ones to my chickens.

We get all our rep's food from the snake shop, at attercliffe, he sells day olds in packs of 50, can't give you a price, as it's not something i buy, but when in there, there is always someone buying them, so i imagine, they are good, quality and price, he does sell smaller amounts as well.
