Peugeot Repairs Specialist

Recommended Posts

Can anyone recomment a Peugoet specialist in Sheffield other than the main dealers?

I'm asking for my mum who has a problem with the electrics on the car saying there is something up with the pollen filter???

Or can anyone suggest what she could do to fix this herself?

It's a 58 plate 207.

Thanks :)

Steve Plain has been a Pug specialist for years. Was service manager at main dealers before.

Motor mates - excellent! Had my old 306 and 106's serviced there for years.

There wouldn't be an electrical fault with the pollen filter, and it would be easy to replace. Any good independent garage would sort that for your mum.

Good luck with it anyway. :)

Take it down the motorway and try to keep to a constant speed (65-70) this sometimes clears the exhaust fault on Peugeots.

The fault is either "anti-pollution fault" or "particulate filter fault".

Both are quite generic errors and will need a diagnostic check with Lexia3 equipment.

Some 207s don't even have a particulate filter.

PM sent giving details of a Rotherham diganostics specialist with Lexia3.

thanks for the self-help advice, i'll take a look at it at the weekend but will tell her to give it a good run out in the meantime. she only really uses it to work and back, a couple of miles a week so maybe a good run might clear it .....?
