Elizabeth13   10 #1 Posted January 5, 2013 (edited) Just an update, Fabcakes posted a thread about a puppy in Romania wanting donations to help pay for treatment. The link was removed as it asked for money to be sent to an unknown party.  Just an update.. It was not a hoax. You may recognise the picture if you saw this poor baby.. (Warning, image may be disturbing)  https://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/393369_472326962805692_1313546377_n.jpg    Her name is now Skinny, and she has come to a foster home in the UK under the care of Lurcher SOS She is only 5 months old and weighs a tiddly 7.5kg but is in the best place possible. Here are some pictures of her now in the UK:  https://fbcdn-sphotos-a-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/150285_437825632949233_756657644_n.jpg  https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/312426_437929379605525_197837046_n.jpg  https://fbcdn-sphotos-b-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/293675_437941036271026_1819822371_n.jpg  https://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/13649_437941082937688_1594885212_n.jpg  Just thought I'd post, in case anyone wanted to know what happened. Elizabeth13   10 #5 Posted January 6, 2013 I think it was a dog that tore her up in Romania. She is such a pretty little thing, and the Vets in Romania have done such a good job stitching her up. https://fbcdn-sphotos-b-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/429041_438298496235280_1081391745_n.jpg  Thats the mark she has to show for her troubles now
 Share this content via...
H_Hounds   10 #6 Posted January 6, 2013 Poor thing. How much stress has she been put under going through a dog attack, surgery, flying to a new country and rehoming! I hope it's all good for her from here bless her.
 Share this content via...

Elizabeth13 Â Â 10 #10 Posted January 6, 2013 Evei - Yes, my mum feels a similar way. She wonders why people are so worried about rehoming 'foreign' dogs when we have enough in the UK needing homes. Â Apparently though, Skinny-Minnie is doing really well. She hasn't had any accidents in the home, and is enjoying her new lurcher friend.
