aker 10 #1 Posted January 2, 2013 Hey I´m thinking of moving to Sheffield when I´ve graduate next year. I was wondering if it´s easy to get a job? and if it´s a good city if you are intrested in art, music and sport? Or if it better to move to London for example? aker 10 #7 Posted January 2, 2013 I'm studying art and I'm interested in any job I´m able to get. I´m not that interested in football but in kickboxing or swimming.
 Share this content via...
Wezzle 10 #8 Posted January 2, 2013 Can't recommend moving unless you line up a job beforehand. If you move on spec you could find it very hard to find work and end up going on benefits. Unless you have specific skills in engineering or computers the jobs market in South Yorkshirre is very tight at the moment. Besides sports which are actually very good in Sheffield, I would say Leeds and Manchester are better and livelier places, especially for music and the arts and they both have better job prospects and a more open minded vibe than Sheffield. As wezzle says you do need a job to, come to but you asked for opinions and you'll get both good and bad feedback. I won't say yeah or nay, that decision is up to you, personally I love Sheffield and we all have our own thoughts. Good luck on what you decide, but at the end of the day the decision is yours
 Share this content via...
