This route is based on 3 walks promoted by the independent Sheffield Publicity Department. Come prepared for the best views the city has to offer and some surreal moments: Arbourthorne ("the highest of all Sheffield's viewpoints"), Skye Edge ("literally the point where the sky meets the ground") and Pye Bank ("an immense, walk-in panorama of the city") where an entire community was demolished a few years ago leaving an eerie wilderness. CzechGirl   10 #3 Posted January 13, 2013 No.  We pay an annual membership though which goes to Ramblers charity to maintain footpaths etc. - only £21 annually if paid by direct debit.
