Dogs howling at 5am in S20 (30/12/12)

Any other forumers woken up by the sound of multiple dogs howling in the Westfield area? Funnily enough it's a full moon and it sounds like Wolves. I'm mildly amused by my OH doesnt like it at all!!

 

Do we have kennels round here that I didn't know about?

I heard it in challoner green. woke me up. it was right annoying

Oh my god, I heard it too! It sounded proper freaky... Although my son reckons it sounded like an industrial wrapping machine coming from Morrisons, but im not convinced!

Saw a *(pack?) of Foxes early other morning howling their heads off at 0400 hours running down the road in S12.

* (A skulk of foxes according to my OH!)

Congratulations on seeing "multiple" fox's, it's a rare sight to see. I have never seen it, but wish I had.

I see I wasn't the only one then! I wonder what it was - it seems to have been heard by people nearly a mile apart! Hope we aren't woken up by it at some silly time again by it though..

Thats weird just seen this post I heard what sounded like dogs howling earlier this evening when I went out to the bin (gave me the creeps) no where near S20 live S5 maybe it was foxes but never heard them howling before. They normally make that weird baby crying noise.

What is a multiple fox? And what has been seen that belongs to one?

It will be foxes, its their mating season now. Christmas morning at 4:30 they were barking like made in Intake.
