Graeme Ross   10 #1 Posted December 29, 2012 Dear all..  I'm hoping that someone in the community may be able to help me with a project I'm wishing to start this year. I'm intending to build a 1/200th scale architectural model of sheffield cathedral but require detailed floor and elevation plans to do so. So far my efforts to find this information have proven fruitless.. I can't even find anything of use at Sheffield's archive service or indeed at the cathedral itself.  I would very much appreciate any help or information anyone may have regarding this.  Many thanks.. PopT Â Â 10 #2 Posted December 30, 2012 Have you contacted the Planning & Rates Department? Â They may have some information tucked away. Â They should know the sizes of the building for rating purposes and alterations to the building carried out by their inspectors. Â There should be some records in the Church estates somewhere as the old plans maybe used for building maintenance. Â These are only two suggestions and I'm afraid they are just ideas not founded on fact but they are worth a try. Â Good Luck! Do let us know if you are successful. Happy Days!
