top4718 Â Â 838 #1 Posted December 27, 2012 I'm wanting to take out the family for a meal tomorrow lunch time, don't want to travel too far from Sheffield. Â Prefer old fashioned type pubs (wont even consider any of the chains). Â I had thought of going to Silversmiths but it doesn't look like it opens at lunchtime. Â Any similar recommendations would be welcome.
 Share this content via...
neeeeeeeeeek   10 #2 Posted December 27, 2012 The Barrel at Breton is great but a good 30mins drive, depending on where in Sheffield you are. Lovely food, real fire, great location.
 Share this content via...

Thyme isn't a pub but is good for family gatherings with solid cooking.   Posted from Sheffieldforum.co.uk App for Android
 Share this content via...
