Bruno 10 #73 Posted October 14, 2013 School spokeswoman Anne Oliver said: “The pupils were enthralled by Alan’s description of his moon walk and he took them on a wonderful journey, all the way from liftoff, into space and then back to earth with him.”[/i] Was he in the group called Shalama? As I thought they were the first to do the moon walk quickly caught on by Michael Jackson.
 Share this content via...

CPC464 10 #75 Posted October 16, 2013 Maybe but we are strapped for cash, the NHS is in a mess and we have no funds to be able to train someone to do this operation over here so Lillie and quite a few others like her have to rely on the generosity of the people in their home town or city in order to be able to do what you and I take for granted - that is to walk - so expecting us to donate to bring an astronaut to give a lecture seems a little frivolous doesn't it? You're not 'expected' to donate to this - you have a choice. If you object to this as frivolous you should check out the prices for shows on at the arena, or cinema tickets? Should people stop going to those too? Attacking someone else's thread isn't doing your own cause any favours.
 Share this content via...
