This year both Stagecoach and First are running some services on Boxing Day and New Years Day, with a maximum fare of £1.

Just a reminder that most bus services on Christmas Eve will be operating A SATURDAY SERVICE will an early finish between 6pm and 7pm

 

The tram service is also operating a SATURDAY SERVICE with an early finish between 6pm -7pm.

Trams will run every 20 minutes from 9am to 6pm on the following routes:

Yellow - Meadowhall to Middlewood via City Centre

Festival Blue - Halfway to Meadowhall via City Centre

 

For those attending the Sheffield Wednesday match at Hillsborough the last trams from Leppings Lane after the match are:

17:07 to Meadowhall

17:27 to City Centre with a connection to Halfway

18:27 to City Centre

18:21 to Middlewood Park & Ride

 

Normal fares apply on the trams on New Years Day

NEW YEARS DAY - BUSES

 

A limited network of buses will operate from 9am to 5pm thanks to funding from Sheffield City Council. Also thanks to council funding a special promotional fare of £1 single will apply on these buses (normal day and week tickets also still available).

does anyone know how often the buses are running today? Have to get to the Hallamshire and trying not to have to pay for a taxi (skint) .... we can get to the 120 bus route, BUT don't wanna be stood around for anything up to an hour or more, waiting .... tried the transport website but no joy ..... any help would be appreciated
