Help. I live in Crookes and I have no idea where to go to watch it. Any tips?

You could see it at a distance from Bolehills.

Depends what you want.

There are two main ways to see it live.

1. Find somewhere along the route and find a spot to watch. If you saw it on tv today then you can see the crowds were very large and people got there early. Tour passes by quite quickly.

2. You could go to one of the dedicated fan hubs along the routes which has more going on plus big screens, but there will be crowds in their thousands.

3. Watch it on TV, but you will ever get to see the event again. You will see more of the race though. You cna see the race as well at the fan hubs or in the pub.

Look at posts #1644 #1646 on p83 or post #1720 for tour times times , travel and where.

Bradfield, Oughtibridge, Don Valley and Meadowhall all fan hubs.

I'm half thinking of going to the roundabout at bottom of Halifax Road as the tour goes through Wadsley Bridge

I wonder if people who live on Herries Road and Halifax Road have suddenly got more people wanting to be friends with them this week? Bedroom windows would be great viewpoints, a bit like my sister's hall of residence window when Newcastle United were at home :)

Look at this map to see the route and what's going on and then this one for how to get there.

If you've not planned it'll probably be easier to go to Meadowhall, and then deciding from there whether you want to walk over to Wincobank or Jenkin Road.
