Beat me to it - but I bumped the fish and chippy shop thread (I think the oldest thread on here) before you.

Pretty soon I'll have been here 10 years myself! A lot of the threads from the 'good old days' seem to have gone, I hope they are archived, lots of interesting information about Sheffield, the UK and elsewhere should be tucked away somewhere. Would be interesting to look back at in say another 40 years...

I get ya. Topic 1 is currently closed, 2 is missing but archived, and 3 is still there! (and now bumped) - I wonder if many will reply without noticing the date

My friend used to post on SF when it started. He was v keen. Lives abroad now.

Just a quick update before I head to bed - we've had 21 people 'sign' our virtual birthday card already! I'm going to work on a way of displaying it - perhaps with everyone's messages and avatars on some kind of large dedicated page, like the million dollar home page.

 

PS. Have had lots of nice card messages so far, including someone who found their long lost love. And yes, I am going to politely ignore any negative messages should they be received!
