Joe Momma   10 #6 Posted December 9, 2012 Ah yes, missed that .... but why does it also say "MCFC 2008-09" ??  (Employer, top right)
 Share this content via...
*_ash_*   88 #7 Posted December 10, 2012 (edited) Ah yes, missed that .... but why does it also say "MCFC 2008-09" ?? (Employer, top right)  Have a look at your employer name on your slip, it's perhaps not exactly what you think it would say.  That 'MCFC 08-09' could be the company name at the time, when it was registered at Ltd perhaps.  Whether or not it is genuine I don't know, but I can't see why not. That looks like what I would expect for a prem player (who isn't fiddling). The numbers add up anyway based on the tax code shown on the slip (to within 4k I've got anyway). I've been self-employed over 20 years ...  It COULD be real .... like that Riise one the other year? Either way, it's a LOT of dosh .... scottf   21 #9 Posted December 12, 2012 Fake, He won't get paid £££ into his bank account, he will have set up a ltd company that will handle all of his affairs for him- including his tax obligations and other things which are no doubt tax deductible.  Any accountant could have done one of those slips. Whether or not something happens after that is another matter.  RE the slip, to me it would appear real, but are the sums any sort of shock really? Jim Hardie   527 #11 Posted July 10, 2013 Well he should just about be able to pay his debt to society now that it's been reassessed.
 Share this content via...
byeo   10 #12 Posted July 11, 2013 I've actually seen a wage slip of Carlos Tevez, this was about 18 months ago when he came into our office. Can't remember the basic wage but it was staggering. I also was able to view his contract with Man City, he get's a bonus (that could have changed now) for being on the subs bench.  It was basically like this:  Basic wage after tax - £..........  Starts the game - £.........Bonus  Comes on as a sub - £.........Bonus  Unused sub - £.........Bonus  Goal - £.........Bonus  Hat-Trick - £.........Bonus   There were many other things but these were the ones which stood out.
