How long have you got off for your Christmas break?

I'll get Christmas Day and Boxing Day this year 'cos it's not my turn to be on call otherwise it'd be work all through Christmas..

rest of this week and 12/21/22/23/24/25 December - working boxing day and new years eve and got new years day off

Last working day is the 21st and my first day back is the 2nd, so that's 3 days of leave and 3 bhs. Not that it makes a lot of difference, it's basically 6 days that I won't be invoicing the client for, whether I call them bh or annual leave makes no difference.

Finish on Xmas eve @ 8pm, Xmas day off, then back at work Boxing day 7am.

December 21st - January 2nd, In my 28yrs of working I have never worked on Christmas Eve or between Christmas and New Year, long may that continue.

 

Always feels a bit flat going back the day after New Years Day though :-(

My contract days off are Sunday and Monday and I have then Christmas day and Boxing Day off, but will be working from the day after boxing day right through to after new year

I work on oil rigs with no fixed schedule. I don't know if or when I am working over the Christmas period, although a current illness means I'm not allowed to work until the doctor certifies me as fit again. The requirements for working offshore are much more stringent than for an ordinary job.
