several cars and vans also robbed

i live near hillsboro and had mine broken into a couple of weeks ago.took my tool box,blow torch and a wooly hat..unbelievable.luckily took my battery drills out. dont leave anything at all in the van now and i leave the pipe rack open..

so much of this about cars vans houses sheds people say it is because of the current financial climate maybe but just doesn't excuse the robbing light fingered scumbags that do this and effect peoples trade and peace of mind in there own homes its disgusting the rise in this sort of crime sickening protect what you can where you can eyes and ears open report everything whether it be an attempted or actual theft and always try and mark your valuables so they can possibly be traced if stolen do make anything easy for anyone

Scumbags are scumbags, its nothing to do with the financial climate.

Lawlessness will only increase under the present "CUT this , CUT that, CUT the other" regime.

The people making the massive cuts will live in areas that do not feel the downside of the cuts. It is the less well off people whose quality of life will drop dramatically.

If I'm being really honest, when I happened upon this thread I was expecting the "crime spree" to be a little bit more, dare I say, dramatic, maybe glamorous even.

 

Sorry about your tools though dude. Hope you get them back.

 

Is it dramatic ? four crimes in one day on 3 streets.

The problem here is that you giving the thefts a degree of acceptability.

"Oh well. it's only a few tools , so what?"

We should NEVER even think that this behaviour is acceptable.
