I work for a living, so really dont have time to count birds.

Thanks for using some of your precious down time to tell us that.

I look in the garden while I have my breakfast - it's a very efficient method.

I thought it. You wrote it.

Yup. Breakfast time, when I'm cooking or washing up, various times over the weekend. You have to feel sorry for someone who hasn't got a moment to look out of a window, it's a wonder they're not dead from the stress. Or maybe they're just going for pointless post of the day.

Besides, if we didn't work, we wouldn't be able to afford the bird food.....

I will have time later to look at birds through my mansion window and out onto my many acres of land,in whichever country i choose to be.;)I may even choose to shoot a few.

First fieldfare of this winter in the garden this morning. As if I needed any more proof of how cold it is out there!

So why are you on a sheffield forum?

Because I lived in Sheffield for twenty years, have a house, friends and family there and often visit. Good enough for you?
