Date – Thurs 6 Dec – Doors 8pm show 8 30pm Venue – The Greystones, Greystones Rd Tickets - £8 http://www.wegottickets.com/sheffieldcomedy SAM HARLAND After surviving two rehabs, various detention centres and a childhood on the streets of Hull, Sam draws on his wealth of experience to bring you a humorously cynical (yet optimistic) slant on life. Sharp witted and charismatic, Sam has been performing stand-up since 2006 – a real audience pleaser. “Sam is an exciting talent with a big personality – an east coast equivalent of Peter Kay” - Agraman, Buzz Comedy 2008 “Sam delivers his material like a pro” – “his timing and emphasis is note perfect” - Chortle 2008 PHIL BUTLER As soon as Phil joined the UK comedy circuit, he found himself closing the show at all the major comedy clubs such as Jongleurs, Highlight, The Comedy Store, The Glee Club, The Banana Comedy Club, Bearcat, Baby Blue, Hyena Comedy Café, Last Laugh, but to name a few. Phil has also had the great honour of performing for our British troops in Iraq, Kosovo, Bosnia, Croatia and several times in Afghanistan. Phil was amongst the first comedians to perform to the troops on the front line, and even received a medal for his time there. Dipping his toe into an acting career he had a cameo role in BBCs 'Hotel Babylon' and a TV advert for the AA. He is currently producing and hosting an internet radio show called 'The Green Room' which is recorded backstage on the comedy circuit with interviews and clips of the show. Past interviews have included; Jimmy Carr, Jim Jefferies, Milton Jones, Rufus Hound and Lee Mack. It's a free podcast available at http://www.thegreenroompodcast.com, http://www.philbutler.co.uk and iTunes. Also a star of the major BBC documentary 'A Funny Business' - 2006 "Phil Butler's got it all ... unique, original and hilarious" - The Stage and Television Today "Without doubt, one of the most exciting and original finds in comedy in recent years" - The Guardian "Phil brought the house down with a truly original and riotous act of visual comedy" The Mirror http://www.philbutler.co.uk JAMIE SUTHERLAND Liverpool has a history for producing some of the countries finest comedy talent, and Jamie Sutherland can now be added to that fine list. A headline act on the comedy circuit, working for some of the countries finest clubs including Sheffield Last Laugh, Jongleurs, and Comedy Central. Jamie also provides pre match entertainment at Premiership clubs Stoke City, Wigan Athletic. A very original act, who will keep you amused with gags, tales, and stories. Jamie is a modern act, with many observational topics, and up to date material, and dont worry if you prefer a good old style gag, he has plenty of them thrown in, ensuring a performance that will touch everyones buttons. Jamie is one of only a few comics that can tailor his performance to suit your audience, extremely popular with corporate clients, and he's equally at home performing to crowds at his nearby social club. He can be seen regularly at Brinsop Comedy Club, Bolton, were he has been resident compere since Nov 2005, he has supported some of the biggest names in comedy, and has gained a reputation as one of the rising stars of comedy with the sell out crowds, and his fellow comedians. Jamie has taken his show into Europe, entertaining the masses of holidaymakers, and in 2008 he stretched as far as Sydney, Australia. He has also had sell out shows 2011, 2012 Sheffield Comedy Festival. “undeniably brilliant” Chortle “Sutherland combines the two style of observational and story telling, and really is very funny.” The Stage
 Share this content via...

Kiddo 10 #4 Posted December 3, 2012 How can I get tickets without having to go on the website and pay the booking fee? Or is it more than £8 cos you have to get charged a booking fee?
 Share this content via...
sheffcomedy 10 #5 Posted December 5, 2012 We always keep some walk up places on the night though they are first come first served. The booking fee is only 80p a ticket the cheapest system we found on the web and had to move to advance tickets because of people holding tickets and not turning up. If it is a large party then you can always contact us to discuss a deposit instead of going through on line sales.
 Share this content via...
