WeX Â Â 10 #5 Posted November 23, 2012 These arrogant lot have been told the cuts are too severe, but because it doesn't effect them they are not listening. Â unemployment is down, the economy is out of recession (for now) and the UK has retained its AAA credit rating. with both the IMF and world banks backing the governments tough stance on the debt crisis. Â now compare that to France who have a socialist government at the helm who said sarkozy's government had it wrong. Unemployment is up, their economy is in free-fall, they have lost their credit worthiness and the brightest and richest are leaving the country taking their money with them. He squandered it  What the current lot got was  Labour's warning to new Government: 'there's no money left'    Didn't labour say they weren't going to reverse any of the cuts ?  Shush.... we don't talk about that.   These arrogant lot have been told the cuts are too severe, but because it doesn't effect them they are not listening.  *SIGH* Once again.... Alistair Darling: we will cut deeper than Margaret Thatcher  every thing is shutting down  You clearly weren't around in the 1970s with hyperbole like that.
