Sim0n Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Not entirely sure if this is the correct place to have placed this discussion thread thingy but does anybody know where I can get a Job in a call centre. If they exist I'm looking for a position where they actually respect there staff and pay them a decent wage. I'm not entirely looking forward to working in a call centre again but I'm out of work so figured better to be in work rather than out, thanks for any help...
Super Hans Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 There's loads of call call centre jobs on the JobCentre website.
angel22 Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Have a look on Plus Net's website. They've normally got loads of jobs available.
Badlittlepup Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Blue Arrow in town have a lot of call centre contracts.
alternageek Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Reed off the fargate work with HSBC and Lloyds/Halifax PlusNet are hiring as long as your a bit techy and willing to work a varied shift patterns (believe theyre on 7am to 10pm; 7 days a week and their contact centre is open all year) but pay well (plus free internets and phone rental) BlueArrow tend to source for Dixons/Currys - who have a thing for KPIs over customer service Nationwide have a contact centre off Barkers Pool in town, may want to see if theyre recruiting for staff for the new year.. Dont know how bad you need work, but if youre near Abbeydale Road, the Broadfield pub is currently looking for Christmas staff to help with glass collections and food serving

Love2print Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 I know that new staff have been starting every Monday at the Dixons call centre for at least the last few weeks. But they tend to get all new starters in before Xmas so you will need to be quick. In regards to be respected, don't count on it at Dixons. But one of my friends works at Virgin Media and she really likes it. She used to work at Dixons and says Virgin is so much better. http://careers.virginmedia.com/opportunities/index.html
