Cant believe the emergency services are paying people to post on a forum.

 

Sad times.

 

sometimes you just cant win

people moan when they are not informed

people moan when they are

i,m sure posting on here is not there job.....just a part of it

If they were wasting time posting in last film you watched thread you'd have a point, but giving concise official information on a highly populated local forum is a good thing.

I doubt the Fire Brigade pay someone to post here. I expect they have a member of staff who, in addition to other duties, posts updates here, to twitter etc. My local fire brigade post updates from the control room. This actually helps as it means people aren't phoning up asking what's on fire (yes, people really do this!).

We had the same thing a few months ago when someone moaned that the police were doing this.

 

It was established that it was an unpaid volunteer.

Woolen's is behind it. Thats just an old derelict building mainly inhabited by junkies and tramps. Have a few pics from an urbex, will upload if i get chance.
