Hots on   10 #15 Posted November 15, 2012 Cant believe the emergency services are paying people to post on a forum. Sad times.  If they were wasting time posting in last film you watched thread you'd have a point, but giving concise official information on a highly populated local forum is a good thing. Andy   10 #18 Posted November 15, 2012 Similar Threads Merged  I doubt the Fire Brigade pay someone to post here. I expect they have a member of staff who, in addition to other duties, posts updates here, to twitter etc. My local fire brigade post updates from the control room. This actually helps as it means people aren't phoning up asking what's on fire (yes, people really do this!).
 Share this content via...

alchresearch   214 #21 Posted November 16, 2012 Cant believe the emergency services are paying people to post on a forum. Sad times.  We had the same thing a few months ago when someone moaned that the police were doing this.  It was established that it was an unpaid volunteer.
