Anyone got their Christmas decorations up this year yet?

I agree with Halibut - if you do it too soon, you'll be bored of the decs by the time Dec 25 comes round.

My tree is plugged in the week before Christmas and is put away on 31 December! Nice to see it, but I like to get back to normal on 1 January.

The house across the road from me have had their lights up since the day after Bonfire night.

 

Mine will go up on 24 December, if I can be bothered.

maybe next weekend, as partner is away and ill have time to kill...

i usually put them up the 2nd weekend in December, though, as thats when my mom used to put our tree and lights up.

 

Its going to be an interesting christmas this year, as its my first one with a cat and waiting on her to take the tree down and break my glass ornaments
