Another pay day when he gets sacked in late December. Then go on TV and explain it in a broad Liverpool accent so most Scottish people won't know what he's on about.

John Barnes anyone? He was a good player AND a good rapper and he didn't last long up there. Gerrards only job is to be better than Celtic who are light years ahead. Unless he's planning on bringing his boots he's on a hiding to nothing.

Steve Gerrard has been given a four year contract at Rangers, he wouldn't have got that even at Queens Park Rangers. Perhaps the daftest financial term endowed on a manager since Alan Pardew was afforded eight years at Newcastle.
