gettingon   11 #32 Posted March 18, 2013 Brian Mcdermott (was at Reading). Timing is a bit silly given that we are close to end of season.   i could have understood this if they had someone lined up to immediately replace mcdermott. a last ditch attempt for survival. but they seem to be taking their sweet time over the appt. well, maybe they did have pdc lined up and the players nixed that idea. he could have been the "shock" factor the team needed to survive...not sure about long term though. Dot   10 #34 Posted March 19, 2013 Who bet on Michael Appleton? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21843906  Serves him right for walking out on Blackpool but if there are any Blackburn fans reading this forum I feel for you with your owners. Their chickens seem to have better "best before by" dates!!
 Share this content via...
JFKvsNixon   11 #35 Posted March 19, 2013 Serves him right for walking out on Blackpool but if there are any Blackburn fans reading this forum I feel for you with your owners. Their chickens seem to have better "best before by" dates!!  I have a little less sympathy. They were screaming for the head of their manager at the start of this season, even though he had them in the top 2 and with each successor, performances have become steadily worse. It's definitely a case of being careful what you wish for.
 Share this content via...
Guest   #36 Posted March 19, 2013 Who bet on Michael Appleton? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21843906  That was a surprise- the club is becoming a joke and the biggest jokers are the owners.  I feel sorry for the fans...long gone are the Jack Walker days.
