Surely it could only ever be a true champions league if only Champions were in it, not teams that finished 4th.

Ironically Celtic was the first British club to win the thing.

With severance awards from each one he succeeds in mis-mangaging while on his way to being the being the wealthiest unemployed bloke in the country.

Lol, it's a right gravy train. Ian Holloway moans that SM took his job, yet QPR are still paying him!

Yes Jim. I think the way McLaren and his unproductive ilk still get jobs is that as most football club owners/directors know zilch about football (yes I'm aware of the Len Shackleton book), trusting  on that niavety they send resumes of only their first two jobs coaching/manager jobs in football and hiding the rest and then gain lucrative employment only to be found out when it's too late but with bank balance well inflated.  Also, I had to look twice at the picture in the sub article as I thought it was actor Lionel Jeffries.

True Jim, jobs for your mates. Up to a few years ago they replaced  the manager, now hes got to bring his mates in as a back room team(disguised as coaches!), guys in the past like  Wilson, Adams, Allan etc will do the job for a couple of grand a week so they get the job and keep working., others get well paid and paid off, so they sit and wait for the right jobs ( see above post)
