Darth Vader   10 #2 Posted November 3, 2012 Hi Sorry I don't know the first thing about this but I just wanted to say, don't try and put it on as you can't be too careful with gas. I wonder if it might even be leaking somewhere else and it's not getting to the actual oven, perhaps at the back somewhere?
 Share this content via...

it was fine this afternoon, and then at tea time wouldnt work? i cant smell gas, but if you hold the knob it works, the grill works fine and the hobs, just not the oven? carlas_cat   10 #6 Posted November 3, 2012 We had a cooker that did this, and it was also an indesit. It was the thermocouple or something that had gone. We used to use a spoon to to hold the button in, the handle wedging in the oven door handle. We couldn't get it repaired for some reason, but this is probably 13 years ago. cgksheff   44 #8 Posted November 3, 2012 ......... It was the thermocouple that had gone. ..........  This the most likely cause. It would need replacing. (I'm not a gas man by the way!)
 Share this content via...
