Has the Co-op pharmacy on Snig Hill closed down?

I called there today, but the shutters were down. Is it early-day-closing or has it shut permanently?

It has been shut for years. LLoyds chemist on Exchange Street has also gone,as I discovered a few days ago when I went to buy something.

Years? I'm sure I used it a few months back. The main department store shut, but the pharmacy & the post office remained.

There is one on Prince of Wales Road, just before the junction with Castlebeck Avenue and Beaumont Road North.
