Are You Looking Forward To Christmas? Really?

Recommended Posts

I'm skint and my Lada running lean on the ecu piggy back turbo. It might blow my head off.

All this and the adverts of happy familys buying stuff from Argos might drive some to the brink.

Opines?

Yes, really.

I will think of you on Christmas day though while your changing the head on your Lada.

No, I'll be stuffing the Turkey and getting ratfaced.

Or maybe it's the other way around.

Edit: Maybe it has to be the other way around.

The kids love Christmas, I enjoy it thru' them. Personally it means very little to me. The commercially driven hype spoils it. Christian values and goodwill to all men are not understood by many in our new 'Im alright Jack' culture. Many forummers should use Christmas as a time to reflect on their own terrible attitudes to ones fellow human beings.

You can tell it's getting close to Christmas time on Sheffield forum.

I am as I have a 4 year old who gets excited about it. I get a day off work and can lounge around in anything I feel like for a whole day. What could be better? Family time and Christmas films on the goggle box.... nothing beats it.

For the very same reason I also hate Xmas & I really hate everyone going on at me to get in the Xmas spirit. Xmas is a family time so how can you be cheerful of a time that runs your face in the fact most of your family are dead?
