TJC1 Â Â 10 #1 Posted October 26, 2012 When you can't get the exact name domain, which is very often, how does 'the' as a prefix effect search? I know Google mess around with algorythms every 6 months or so... Â e.g. Â gardencompany (company name) Â thegardencompany
 Share this content via...
indizine   10 #2 Posted October 26, 2012 (edited) emd's are going out of fashion where Google is concerned....  Nothing wrong with using the word 'The' in it.  emd's are not the be all and end all....they never were and clearly now, never will be.  Buy a domain that matches your business name, and have a business name that is unique and a brand name that reflects your business.  Problems with emd's  people using them believing they will help then rank high in Google people using them when their actual business name is something else - confusing people using them and their business name is the same - very bland, generic, unforgettable Edited October 26, 2012 by indizine
 Share this content via...
