Jordanthorpe Flashmob Theatre Performance - Saturday 3rd November

Recommended Posts

Lowedges, Batemoor and Jordanthorpe Theatre Project

An outdoor theatre project is being developed in Lowedges, Batemoor and Jordanthorpe to bring generations and local communities together. The event marks the past year’s success of the somewhereto_ project which has worked with 16-25 year olds across the country. The flashmob rehearsals are open to anyone who wants to do something different and get involved with their local community. Everyone, young and old, is then encouraged to get involved when the piece is performed on 3rd November, which will also involve professional actors.

The flashmob performance will take place on Saturday 3rd November (11.00am – 1.00pm) in the open spaces and underpass by Jordanthorpe shops (Dyche Lane).

Rehearsals for the project are free to attend and are open to all ages. They will take place on 29th October (10.00am-3.00pm) and 30th October (12.30pm-4.30pm). The venue will be Meadowhead Christian Fellowship, Unit 3, Jordanthorpe Centre, Dyche Lane, Sheffield S8 8DX

Anyone wishing to get involved should email [email protected] or call 0114 268 6813 to book a place.
