Jeffrey Shaw   88 #25 Posted October 31, 2011 Post #5 is spot-on. The problem occurs in a lot of North Derbyshire properties. One can buy basement air-purifiers to wash out the low-level radioactivity.
 Share this content via...
willman   10 #26 Posted October 31, 2011 We have a row of terraced houses in the village nicknamed "the gas houses". They were boarded up due to Radon, but have been occupied again for the past 25 years  At least it isn't methane like Arkwright Town!! Sapa   10 #27 Posted September 7, 2012 There are maps online that show radon concentration in the UK. This area is generally spotted with it because of the coal mines. If they are going to put Sellerfield waste in Orgreave pit at the new "testing station" there will be higher concentrations which is probably why they are putting new fans in the schools, especially the "better" areas. Sapa   10 #29 Posted September 7, 2012 n.b. The Welsh refused it a while back and it isn't Sheffield but Rotherham who have agreed to this new "testing station".  I have quite a lot of dreams that warn of coming events and a while ago I dreamed I was standing in a tunnel and men were bringing in large yellow drums and hastily depositing them in the tunnel. It is on the basis of this dream which was before the announcement to build the new nuclear site that I believe the pits are to be used for storage. There is already radon gas so I presume they think a bit more won't matter.
 Share this content via...

onewheeldave   22 #31 Posted September 7, 2012 This is not a conspiracy theory Today's Star says they are putting fans into schools  Presumably it doesn't say that the fans are being put into schools because of radon gas though, does it? Sapa   10 #32 Posted September 7, 2012 For the dangers to children please look at these links, children are the most susceptible to radiation symptoms such as Thyriod cancer and cataracts  http://www.fukusima-sokai.blogspot.jp/2012/01/messages-from-noam-chomsky-about.html  http://www.fukushima-evacuation-e.blogspot.jp/  http://saparonia.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/japanese-anti-nuclear-movement-protest.html http://saparonia.blogspot.co.uk/2012/09/missing-links.html
 Share this content via...

alchresearch   213 #34 Posted September 7, 2012 Do you have any links that they're putting Sellafield's waste into Orgreave?  I found a link about the schools:  http://www.thestar.co.uk/news/gas-alert-at-sheffield-schools-1-4904800  It says:  Radon has been detected at Ecclesall Infants, and at Westways, Totley, Birley and Birley Spa primaries.  Were there pits close to all those areas? Lockjaw   11 #35 Posted September 7, 2012 (edited) I know of a primary school which is having fans put in because of levels of radon above the acceptable limit. My son goes there.  This is, of course, incontravertable proof of the predictive power of dreams and the coming, government sponsored, nuclear apocalypse.  ETA: Yeah, it's one of the ones alch mentioned.
