Beagles need help

I dread to think. The facility seems to be one of the less brutal versions I've read about, but frankly, I don't know a lot about it.

mostly because they're bred for their determination, and are scent hounds, and are pack hounds, so their perspective on life isn't what non-hound owners expect to find in a dog

 

... and they're destructive, VERY destructive

 

... and they're bossy, VERY bossy

 

... and it's just SOOOOOO damned difficult NOT to feed them until they're so fat they're miserable

 

... and they're great at stealing stuff

 

... and they're great at escaping

 

... and recall training is fairly impossible with most of them

 

... need I go on?

they're a nightmare, but they're great if you can get the upperhand with them
