Wodoish!!! Â Â 10 #1 Posted August 20, 2012 I'm thinking of getting a gopro camera to take some mountain biking videos. Been looking at some reviews which are all good, but they seem to be very expensive! Â Are they really worth the extra money than some of the cheaper alternatives out there? Â Anyone use one of these, and if so any advice?
 Share this content via...
VideoPro   10 #2 Posted August 20, 2012 In the world of decent "wearable" cameras, GoPro are dirt cheap. It's possible to spend as little as £25 or so for an alternative brand but you will definitely see a difference in image quality. The first time one of those falls off, you can bin it.  We use Swiss made Blickvang on board and helmet cameras for pro motorcycle racing and if we didn't have a sponsoring deal, the units we have would be around £600 each. heavenlyarts   10 #3 Posted August 20, 2012 GOPRO are Excellent, in my mind excellent value for money.  If you buy 2 you can mount them in a special mount and film in 3d !!!
 Share this content via...
lilypiglet   10 #4 Posted August 21, 2012 A lot of the riders I know use HedCamz, cheaper than GoPro, and just as good. http://www.hedcamz.com/
 Share this content via...
glyn999 Â Â 10 #5 Posted August 23, 2012 GOPRO HD, off of amazon. We use it on a jetski and the results are excellent. The new dive housing has good results also.
 Share this content via...
