Seriously folks . . .

I would willingly loose this game if it gives a Mightier

Wednesday for the Championi-ship.

We may need to make sacrifices . . .

. . . Can you hear me Dave Jones :?:

I can see this being a good start to the season for Wednesday.

Lets be honest, no club will set out to use these games as a friendly or just a work out game so i'm hoping our new signings can really show why they have been signed.

I disagree. I don't want our first competitive game of the season to start with a loss. I don't really care about the cup right now but I'd rather have a morale-boosting win than lose.

I wonder if Antonio will star in the centre of the park.

Why down the centre he's a winger ??

I am just going on a post I have just read on here mate from an Owl who says he plays in midfield, I have only seen him play a couple of games mate and he did play on the wing, I was just bowing to the expierence of a regular attender of Wednesday games opinion.

Full back positions is what i'm keen to see.

We have some very different options now from Lee and Mattock the new boys or Buxton and Reda.

I think we'll see a really exciting attacking team this season, with some marauding full backs we've not really properly seen since we had Nilson on one side and King/Worthington on the other.

I sincerely hope Antonio will play on the wing - I thought he'd been signed for his speed and skills in that position. I am so pleased we got him, he showed his worth by playing on despite his injured shoulder and getting us the winner against Carlisle. That from a player who was only a loanee.

I agree that a win is the best way to start a season - regardless of it 'just' being a cup game. Its a confidence thing. COUB'S!
