Extreme nicotine addiction.

Recommended Posts

I was driving past Rotherham General Hospital yesterday morning. The hospital does not allow smoking in the grounds. There is a path from the main entrance to the hospital that leads to main road that the hospital is located on. There is a low wall that smokers sit on outside hospital bounds. The pavement is separated from the road by a grass verge.

As I was driving by I noticed a lady who was probably twenty something. She was sat on the wall in silk jarmers and clasping a portable frame in one hand . It had wheels on it and carried a bottle from which the lady was being treated introveneously ( hard to spell that).

In her other hand she was grasping a cigarette which she appeared to think was saving her life judging by the attention that she was giving it.

Why do they do it? Just PACK THEM IN!:)

A few years ago a guy having treatment for some skin complaint or other burnt to death after lighting up and setting fire to the medication that covered his whole body really dying for a fag.

Why did Freddy come to mind when you said that?

That's the nature of addiction, sadly.

I'll tell the tale of the guy of the fruit machine addict I recently saw soon...
