neeeeeeeeeek
You just need a copy of the disk where abouts are you? Try this site http://www.mydigitallife.info/download-windows-7-iso-official-32-bit-and-64-bit-direct-download-links/ Not used it myself, but as you have a key, I can't see a problem downloading an image. kinetic
Where abouts in Sheffield are you? you don't need the disk btw, it's much quicker to install it from a flash drive (well.. as long as you have a decent flash drive and not one of the slow, cheap crappy ones). kinetic
Just to clarify the above post: you download the ISO from the site neeeeeeeeeek suggested above. Then go get the ISO>USB tool; http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/html/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwnTool Use it to create a bootable USB flash drive. You plug that into your PC, boot from USB (you can usually press one of the function buttons to select the boot device, it might flash up briefly on your screen as it boots and tell you which button to press). Then you can just install it exactly the same way as if you'd used a disc (just don't forget to remove the flash drive when it's copied the files to your hard drive and reboots, otherwise you may end up back at the installation screen from the flash drive again). kinetic
A little tip btw (not relevant to your problem but it's a nice tip and is relevant to installing windows from a pen drive): Once you've created a bootable windows installation pen drive (from any of the ISOs - home, premium, ultimate, makes no difference), if you navigate to your pen drive, open the "sources" folder and delete the file "ei.cfg" you can use the pen drive to install any version of windows 7. It will ask you when it boots up which version of windows you want to install: Home, Professional, Ultimate, Enterprise, etc. (you obviously still need the correct corresponding key for the version you choose) This can be really useful if, for example, you have a Windows 7 Professional disk lying around but your key is for Windows 7 Home. Just delete ei.cfg and it will allow you to install Windows 7 Home from your Windows 7 Pro disc!
