Fab FREE events for the kids this August

Working in partnership with Heeley Development Trust, Art in the Park have some great events going on this month. Unlike a lot of the activities you may have wanted the kids to take part in during their summer holidays, these won't break the bank!

 

All events are to be held at Millennium Park in Heeley, the full address for which is: Millennium Park, Ash Tree Yard 62 - 68 Thirlwell Road Heeley Sheffield S8 9TF

 

The events are as follows:

 

'Ahoy there me hearties' Tuesday 7th August, 11am-3pm

 

Bring the kiddies down for a pirates picnic, an exciting treasure hunt and the chance to make their own costume.

 

'Get Your Hunt On' Tuesday 14th August 12pm - 3pm

 

This one definitely looks to be a truly magical event - we'll be making fairy/wizard wants, stick people, story sticks, shamens sticks and scavenger sticks.

 

There will also be a scavenger hunt and discovery trail across the park.

 

'Raaa!' Tuesday 21st August 12pm - 3pm

 

Join us for a drumming workshop where there will also be face painting and the chance to create a musical instrument from natural materials.
