Triathlon Beginner

Hi folks. I'm new to Sheffield (S11) and have decided to take the change of city as an opportunity to change my life round a bit.

 

I've always fancied having a go at triathlon. I was a good swimmer as a kid, enjoy cycling and can get by at jogging/running, however I haven't exercised properly in 30+ years and am closer to 50 than 40 .. yikes!

 

Do any clubs cater for people like me .. elderley female novices?

There`s also Smiley Paces who are very welcomong to novices. They are a female run club really but do a lot of tri stuff too.

They`re pretty much based in S11 and more inclusive than Sheff Tri.
