Is it a long short cut or a short long cut, the A57 route is shorter in distance but can be a real drag if you go at certain times and don't forget all the roundabouts and speed cameras, the M18 180 route is about 15 miles longer but is usually a bit faster if I was in a car I would go the A57 route if I was in a bigger vehicle or towing or something I would go the M18 180 route.

 

20 miles longer via M180 (from start of Parkway in Sheffield.)

I've never been to Skegness and it doesn't really appeal. Why do people from Sheffield go to Skegness?

 

It's quicker to go to Southport isn't it?
