Try the RSPCA, I work at one of the shops in North East Derbyshire (as you can tell from my avatar I am very much an animal lover especially cats) I am sure they need volunteers. You could try the centre in Sheffield, I get alot of satisfaction out of my job even though it is only two days vountary. I am helping the animals and making a difference, good on you for doing work with the homeless I wanted to do that as well I imagine it is heartbreaking at times though??, good luck I hope everything works out for you. :);)

http://www.rspca.org.uk

When you get onto the main page click onto get involved, and then scroll down and you will see volunteer for us, there are also paid vacancies on the website as well.

The Sheffield Cat Shelter would love to see you. Volunteers groom & feed cats, clean litter trays & spend a lot of time socialising abandoned and frightened cats. They are based in Travis Place, Broomhall. Here's their web address :

Thank you so much :) the last time I looked on the site they only had reception work but I will look again. I love animals too I think every little help and animals appreciate every second you spend with them, that's why I love them so much. I work in the kitchens at the moment as I have only just started so I cant wait that I know a lot and see a lot but hopefully can progress, thank you so much

good for any volunteering roles

:)

If you call Traveline on 0871 200 22 33 they should be able to tell you what buses are available to Chesterfield. :)
