Dean Holdsworth turned the job down.

Several reasons Pembo may stay..

His work at the Academy is starting to pay off.

His son is at the Academy

Pembo has stated before first team management was not in his plans.

Of course things and plans change, but at a time his hard work is paying off, would it be the right time to jump ship?

Pembo decides to stay!

From SSN:

"I have a great relationship with Sheffield United and I am enjoying the work I am doing here," said the former Blades player."

"I felt at this moment it was important to show loyalty because we are trying to build something in difficult times."

Pemberton added: "I'm very flattered but I didn't feel that this was the right time to leave the club."

Another bit of good news this week following Macca's new deal.
