On a boat but no wake in the photo ?

I took the picture from the front of the boat hence no wake. Think it was f8 and I kept slowing the exposure down until I got the shot I wanted. Still learning and experimenting. Of of the 100's I took that week I got about 10 or 12 I am pleased with.

Really great pictures. You must have been up early/late a fair few times to get all those pictures with the sun low in the sky!

 

I'm off to Skye myself in Sept and I hope I have weather as good as you seem to have had.

Had a really good but very wet week on Skye last September! well worth the visit as the landscape really is amazing. take lots of waterproofs and you'll be fine as it tends to go from sunny to storms and back again very quickly!
