Why is it, when I cook it's enough to feed the 5000? Is it a man thing?

Recommended Posts

Whenever I seem to cook, I seem to make enough food, perhaps not enough to feed the 5000, but I certainly overdo it.

I made a delicious curry last night. It was perfection (for me), but now there's enough left for me to have for both lunch and evening dinner, probably for the next 3 days! (not that I'm going to, so some of it will end up being bin fodder I expect!)

Is it me who's just a blithering idiot or is it a 'man thing'.

(no it won't fit in my freezer ;))

Give it away to neighbours!

I think it must be a man thing.

Women only seem to do big portions for pets.

Ha, I'd be more likely to make a certain neighbour of mine 'wear it'.

Yeah, I've noticed that about our dog! Mind you, I wouldn't want her dinner though! :gag:

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but given that most of the worlds top chefs are male i'd say it's because you're a blithering idiot. So what's for dinner tonight?

Hahaha...that's a tough one! Fancy a curry?

I could also name a few top chef's who are also blithering idiots, and they cook too much food too! ;)

invite some of your friends around for a beer and a curry, stick a DVD on

they provide the beer you provide the curry

bit short notice, but you never know it could be fun

Friends? I'm not familiar with that concept! :(

I think I had one once. Although I think it was a malicious rumour!

No its not, my missus cooks as though she's feeding the street, always says "best to have too much, than not enough". Luckily the 3 lads normally demolish it for her lol

Are there not some neighbourhood cats you can put it out for?

I've got a dog, but I don't fancy scooping after she's demolished a bowl of my curry.

And there aren't any cats, cos I've got a dog around! :hihi:

I always make more than I need and put any leftovers in the freezer for lunches through the week.
